A SPECIAL ESCAPADE FOR MUMS
WHO HAVE SPOKEN THE UNIMAGINABLE...GOODBYE
March 20 to March 27, 2026 - For 6 mums
Fully Inclusive EU2999 pp

An extraordinary week, for six mums to come together, to celebrate through fooding, writing and escapading to the High Atlas and beside the sea, their kids, now living within their hearts.
This will be a celebration too, of the wonderful mums who have lived beyond the unfathonable, to somehow soldier on, of whom Edwina, is one...
We will meet you at the airport and bring you the 15 minute drive to the riad, where a wicked cocktail and welcome feast with wines, awaits.
You will slumber in sumptuousness for six nights in the riad and one, bang on the Atlantic, in, Essaouira.
You will find a journal, pens, brushes and paints to write and draw in your journal each day and talk together of your writings and art.
We will kick off the first morning after a glorious breakfast,
by introducing our children and beginning our journals. We will lunch in the riad and spend the afternoon cooking our kids' favourite things to have for dinner, with a cocktail to begin, made by one of you and it's recipe written in your journal. Wine with dinner..
This morning after an early breakfast, we will head for the High Atlas, up and over the Tizn Test Pass to a remote olive growing hamlet to cook lunch with one of the families who survived the 2023 earthquake while all the homes in this little community, didn't. The community will really resonate, in the way they are beginning all over again, against insurmountable odds having lost so many and so much. We will stop on the way at a breakfast spot, Moroccans have two breakfasts, one just after morning prayer and another around 9.30 to then continue the picturesque drive to the hamlet, a trillion miles from everywhere.
Tonight we will dine terrace top a 5 minute walk away but not before one of you makes your signature cocktail to relish and write the recipe in your journal!
After breakfast we will make another pot of coffee and spend journal time together..
At 11.30am we will head into the souks to see if there are any hearts' desires we need to take home.We will lunch terrace top, deep inside the medina and continue through the souks until at 5pm you will go for a hamman and massage. Dinner in the riad with another signature cocktail made by one of you!
This morning after breakfast, it's off to Essaouira for the night by the sea.
We will travel the 3 hours by private transport, lunch on seafood chosen in the port and BBQed for us at the and of the pier..we will roam the ancient medina, settled by the Portugese so very different from Marrakech..there is a divine scarf shop we will go to, for you to choose a scarf (included) as a wonderful reminder of your Moroccan time.
Relax before dinner, maybe write or do nothing but gaze at the sea, before dinner somewhere, beguiling..
This morning after breakfast we will spend time with our journals together before lunch and the drive home.
Dinner tonight in the riad. Lamb tanjia cooked for hours in the hammam coals beginning with one oy you shaking a cocktail. Wine with dinner.
This morning after breakfast we will go to the divine Anima Gardens, 45 minutes by private transfer, we will lunch closer to home and spend our final afternoon together with our journals before going somewhere exotic, 10 minutes walk away, to celebrate the week together before fond farewells tomorrow.

It has been a long time want to offer escapades to mums, who have survived the loss of a child, to all the heart wrenching ways, to come together with a few other mums to talk and talk without being headed off at the pass..
